What are Policy Groups?

Policy Groups are convenient when you have a large number of Security Policies in your ZeroNorth account. There are two kinds of Policy Groups:

  1. Standard Policy Group - the standard type of Policy Group is an arbitrary collection of Security Policies. A Scan Policy can belong to one or standard Policy Groups.
  2. Set-based Policy Group - sometimes referred to as the “Wizard-based Policy Group”, this type of Policy Group has within a set of Security Policies that are created and maintained as a set belonging to the group. This type of Policy Group is useful for creating and maintaining a large number of Security Policies.

Manage a Policy Group

To modify an existing Policy Group:

  1. Go to zn OPS > Policies .
  2. Locate the Policy Group you want to modify.
  3. Click on the icon to bring up the Policy for edit.

To delete an existing Policy Group:

  1. Go to zn OPS > Policies .
  2. Locate the Policy Group you want to modify.
  3. Click on the icon to delete the Policy.
