For some reason, my drone is taking more time to start each step of any pipeline. There is any clues or guide to start trouble shooting this?
e.g., it took 33 seconds just to clone. but other steps just take too long to start

We have not experienced any issues at cloud.drone.io so it is difficult to speculate without knowing anything about your installation or your pipeline configuration.
Some common reasons could be:
- the docker daemon is being forced to re-download your images (for some reason) and you have a slow network connection. This can happen if you are purging your local docker image cache frequently, or you are using the
:latestversion of images which forces Drone to re-download the latest image version every time. - the host is using devicemapper which has poor performance
