Logout not functioning as expected in v1.0.0-rc1

Hi

I am experiencing odd behavour when using the logout button when clicking on my user. it forwards me to /logout but then i go back to the home page and i am still logged in?

Any one else had this issue? i am using the current 1.0.0 rc
