Hybrid Server ERR-9001 - missing snapshots and disk space issue

Problem Description:

In a Hybrid server environment, we are getting ERR-9001:

We have checked the certificate on our browser as well and everything seems to be configured correctly.

Environment:

Hybrid: all versions

Resolution:

  • Make sure you have enough free disk space, and that the maxUsedStoragePercentage threshold causes newer events expected to be available to be removed.

Cause:

In this scenario, the maxUsedStoragePercentage threshold was met, and therefore new snapshots were deleted in order to make free disk space which amounted to a total of x days worth of snapshots.

This eventually caused even newer events to be deleted, and only a limited number of snapshots remained.
